Frauenthal Center for Performing Arts
The Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts is comprised of two main buildings which have been joined into one complex. The Center's flagship is the 1,748 seat Frauenthal Theater, a fully restored historic motion picture palace. In addition to the Theater, this building is home to 4 levels of office space and The City Café restaurant. Adjacent to this complex is the Hilt Building, which is home to the modern 169 seat Beardsley Theater, the Bettye Clark Cannon Gallery and other meeting and support spaces.

Cherry County Playhouse
West Michigan's Cherry County Playhouse served West Michigan out of the Frauenthal Center for many years. The Cherry County Playhouse was founded to present and preserve the art of musical theater. They presented the most exciting classic and contemporary musicals while also creating new works that expand the range of the audience's experience. In this way, we all gain a better understanding of each other and see the musical theater as a living art form, one that enriches our lives, challenges and entertains, is meaningful, beautiful and a vital part of the culture and economy of West Michigan. Cherry County went out of operations in 2003.

Muskegon County Museum
The mission of the Muskegon County Museum is to preserve and interpret the natural and cultural history of Muskegon County. Permanent exhibits showcase the story of lumbering, mastodons, dinosaurs, Native Americans, natural history and more. Popular hands-on exhibits include the Science Center, filled with both natural and physical science activities and Body Works. Changing exhibits highlight special topics of local history and interest.

Winter Sports Complex
The Winter Sports Complex is the best way to have fun in the winter in Muskegon. Located across Lake Michigan, the winter sports complex features ski trails, skating rinks, and one of only three luge tracks in the nation.

North Muskegon Public Schools

Yacht Club
Located on the shore of beautiful Muskegon Lake, Muskegon Yacht Club offers its members and guests both protected lake sailing and easy access to Lake Michigan.
