Chris Hall is the Building Inspector/Official for the City of North Muskegon. He is in the office on Mondays from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. To schedule an inspection, please call 231-578-1646.
Building Permits may be obtained Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. If plan review is required, the permit will not be issued until all plan reviews have been conducted. To avoid a delay in getting your building permit, be sure and submit your plan review with a completed building permit application form which can be obtained below. Gene Lowder is the Electrical Inspector. Inspections are arranged directly with him. To schedule an inspection call 231-638-2677.
Like Building Permits, electrical permits may be obtained Monday through Friday. Inspections will not be conducted if a permit has not been obtained.
