A reservation form can be filled out at the North Muskegon City Hall or you can download the application located at the bottom of this page and return it by mail. It must include all the information requested.
A $75.00 refundable deposit is required at the time of your reservation. The fee for use of the park is $100. This must be paid at least one week prior to your reservation. Your deposit is refundable provided any debris is picked up and the park is left in good condition. If you pay by check, please make checks payable to the City of North Muskegon. Cancellations made 30 days prior to the event day will receive a refund.
After your deposit is received you will be mailed a letter of confirmation.
The park is normally groomed mid week, but it is best to check the park the day of your event for debris or large branches that may have accumulated since grooming that you may wish to remove.
There are two electrical outlets available, one which is located at the base of the large fir tree and another at the back of the gazebo.
Use of a tent would only be permitted if it is not secured with stakes which might puncture the underground sprinkling.
We advise that you check the date you are requesting to avoid scheduling conflicts with annual events such as fireworks or art fair which might bring large numbers of the general public into the park, and we remind you that Custer is a public park and therefore it is not closed during your reservation time.
If you wish to have a rehearsal prior to your wedding reservation day, please contact city hall to confirm that there will not be a wedding on that day as the park may already be reserved.
