City Water Rates and Information

2013 WaterReport  The City is required to sample and analyze its water on an annual basis.  The most recent report is highlighted above and will provide the statistics of our water testing.  The water quality report is distributed through the City’s Newsletter to all residents on our water system.

The Water rate is $3.40 per hundred cubic feet.

Sewer rates are $2.10 per hundred cubic feet.

100 cubic feet equals 748 gallons of water.

Residents who use a substantial amount of water outdoors during the summer (sprinkling, vehicle washing, etc.) can reduce their sewer charges by installing a separate yard meter. Homeowners who decide to add an extra meter will be responsible for securing a plumbing permit, and making the plumbing changes necessary to allow manifolding of the meters.

Both the water and sewer rate structures are subject to periodic review to insure that revenues are sufficient to meet operational costs. Future adjustments to the rates will be made after thorough analysis.

If you have questions about your water bill please email Kristy Mattson, City Treasurer.
