The City of North Muskegon, through the Department of Public Works, plows all city streets during the winter. It is a city ordinance to keep your vehicles off the road during the hours of 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., from November 1st to March 31st.
Sidewalks are plowed near City Hall and the school by City staff. The City Council reviews how much sidewalk plowing City staff will do on an annual basis. There is an Ordinance that states residents are responsible for the removal of snow from the sidewalks on their property. Please help us keep sidewalks clear of snow; keep vehicles off the sidewalks and please don’t ride your bikes on the sidewalks.
